Oleh Bilyk
Oleh Bilyk, owner of Speakr, is a certified medical interpreter with NBCMI and the Oregon Health Authority in Ukrainian and Russian languages. With extensive experience as a medical, legal, and educational interpreter, he identified significant issues in the industry, particularly concerning the quality of service in scheduling and the caliber of language specialists provided by existing agencies. This realization led him to create Speakr, a transparent cooperative community designed to foster an environment where both providers and interpreters can thrive together.

Anna Karakotova
Anna Karakotova, co owner of Speakr, comes from a family of religious immigrants who moved to the United States long ago. She deeply understands the struggles of immigrants and refugees, particularly the challenge of not only being seen and acknowledged but also being understood by others. This insight became a driving force behind her work at Speakr. Driven by a profound sense of purpose, Anna is dedicated to bridging communication gaps for those in need. Recognizing that our great country can serve as a bridge for communication, she was inspired to develop a product that could benefit everyone.
